Welcome to my website dedicated to work on Wind and Watermills.

My story began in 1998 when I trained at University College Suffolk on a full time Cabinet Making and Joinery course where I qualified with NVQ 3 and City and Guilds in advanced timber frame construction.

After qualifying I registered self employed and began working for a family based firm making Windsor chairs, something I still take pleasure in today and am proud to look back on special projects I was involved with including a chair for our Queen and Prince Philip, the Prince of Wales and also Special editions with timber from Nelsons Flagship HMS Victory.

As time moved on I rented my own workshop in the grounds of Friston Windmill in Suffolk which is where I first met the late Essex Millwright Vincent Pargeter in 2005.

Windmills suck you into a different time, and a different perspective of construction and before you know it your well involved.

Under the guidance of Vincent I took the plunge and began millwrighting in 2011 and since then I have been involved in many projects from simple mill maintenance to full on restorations.

I now lead a small team of dedicated millwrights offering many different skills needed for modern millwrighting.
